Method
- In a mixing bowl, add boiled and mashed sweet potato, salt, and a little whole wheat flour.
- Start mixing with your hands and add more flour gradually to form a soft, smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into equal balls and roll each ball into a medium-sized roti using a rolling pin.
- Heat a tawa on medium flame and place the rolled roti on it.
- Cook until small bubbles appear, then flip. Cook the other side until light brown spots form.
- Apply a little ghee if desired, press gently to cook evenly, and remove from the tawa.
- Repeat for all rotis and serve warm.
Notes
Sweet Potato Roti stays softer for longer due to natural moisture. Great for kids and perfect for lunchboxes.
