  • 1 cup curd (dahi) whisked
  • 1/4 cup cucumber finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup tomato finely chopped, seeds removed
  • 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp carrot grated
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp black salt adjust to taste
  • 1/4 tsp regular salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp green chilli finely chopped, optional

Equipment

  • Whisk or spoon

Method
 

  1. Whisk the curd in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Add chopped cucumber, tomato, onion, grated carrot, and coriander.
  3. Mix in roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and green chilli.
  4. Combine everything gently and chill for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh curd for the best taste. You can also add beetroot, capsicum, or boondi for variations. Adjust consistency by adding 1–2 tbsp water if needed.
