  • 3 cups watermelon cubes seedless preferred
  • 6-8 leaves fresh basil torn
  • 1 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp honey optional, adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup chilled water to adjust consistency

Method
 

  1. Add watermelon cubes, basil leaves, lime juice, and honey to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth. Add a little chilled water if you want a lighter consistency.
  3. Strain the juice through a fine strainer for a clear drink, or skip this step for a thicker texture.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve chilled. Garnish with basil leaves.

Notes

For best taste, use chilled watermelon. Basil adds a refreshing twist and helps digestion.
