  • 1 cup Jowar flour fresh and fine
  • 1/4 cup Finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup Finely chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp Green chilli paste adjust to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 cup Water adjust as needed for batter
  • 1 tsp Oil for greasing

  • Non-stick tawa

Method
 

  1. Add jowar flour, onions, coriander, green chilli paste, turmeric, cumin, and salt to a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour water slowly and whisk to make a smooth, lump-free batter. The consistency should be slightly thick but pourable.
  3. Heat a non-stick tawa and lightly grease it with oil.
  4. Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a medium-sized chilla.
  5. Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes until the edges lift. Flip and cook the other side until golden.
  6. Serve hot with green chutney or curd for a balanced meal.

Notes

You can add grated carrots or spinach for extra fiber and vitamins.
