Ingredients

  • 1 cup cucumber slices fresh, thinly sliced
  • 10 leaves fresh mint lightly crushed
  • 1 tbsp ginger thinly sliced
  • 4 slices lemon fresh
  • 4 cups water cold or room temperature

Equipment

  • Glass jar or jug
  • Knife
  • cutting board

Method
 

  1. Rinse the cucumber, mint, ginger and lemon well.
  2. Slice the cucumber, ginger and lemon into thin pieces for better flavour release.
  3. Add all the ingredients to a clean glass jug.
  4. Pour 4 cups of water and lightly stir.
  5. Let it rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours so the flavours infuse well.
  6. Serve chilled. Refill the jug once more using the same ingredients if needed.

Notes

You can refill water once using the same ingredients. Best consumed within 24 hours for freshness.
