  • 150 g minced chicken lean chicken preferred
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp haldi turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp besan to bind the patty
  • salt as per taste
  • 4–5 large lettuce leaves to wrap the burger
  • 1 tomato slice
  • 1 onion ring
  • 1 tsp olive oil for cooking

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • tawa or frying pan
  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Take a bowl and mix minced chicken, onion, ginger garlic paste, haldi, red chilli powder, garam masala, besan, and salt.
  2. Shape the mixture into a flat patty.
  3. Heat oil on a tawa and cook the patty on medium flame for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Place large lettuce leaves on a plate. Add tomato slice and onion ring.
  5. Place the cooked chicken patty on top and wrap the lettuce around it like a burger.
  6. Press gently and serve fresh.

Notes

You can add green chutney or hung curd spread for extra flavour without increasing calories.
