  • 250 g salmon fillets boneless
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon juice + zest
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs oregano + thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly crushed
  • 1/2 tsp salt adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Add olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic paste, herbs, salt, and black pepper to a bowl. Mix well into a smooth marinade.
  2. Coat the salmon fillets gently with the marinade and rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill pan on medium flame and grease lightly with oil.
  4. Place salmon skin-side down and grill 5–6 minutes. Flip carefully and cook another 5–6 minutes until flaky.
  5. Serve hot with a fresh salad, sautéed veggies, or brown rice.

Notes

For stronger flavour, marinate for 20 minutes. Use fresh lemon for the best taste.
