  • 200 grams Paneer cut into cubes
  • 1 cup Onion sliced
  • 1 cup Capsicum mixed colours, cubed
  • 2 medium Tomatoes pureed
  • 1 tbsp Oil use olive oil or rice bran oil
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds lightly crushed
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp Fresh coriander chopped

  • Kadai or deep pan

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds and crushed coriander seeds.
  2. Add sliced onions and sauté until light golden.
  3. Stir in ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  4. Add tomato puree, turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt. Cook until the masala releases oil.
  5. Add capsicum cubes and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Keep them slightly crunchy.
  6. Add paneer cubes and garam masala. Mix gently and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle coriander leaves and switch off the flame.

Notes

Use fresh paneer for best results. You can lightly toast paneer cubes for firmer texture. Adjust spices to your preference.
