  • 1 cup Finely shredded cabbage fresh and tender
  • 1 cup Curd (yogurt) slightly thick
  • 1 tbsp Fresh coriander finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Black salt optional
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch Black pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Add the shredded cabbage to a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk the curd until smooth, then add it to the cabbage.
  3. Mix in roasted cumin powder, salt, black salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add chopped coriander and mix gently.
  5. Chill for 10 minutes for best taste and serve with roti, biryani, or khichdi.

Notes

Use fresh, soft cabbage for the best texture. You can also add grated carrot or chopped cucumber for variation.
