
Carrot Raita
Carrot raita is a refreshing Indian yogurt side dish made with grated carrots, mild spices, and fresh curd. It pairs well with roti, rice, or any light meal and adds a healthy dose of probiotics and fibre.

- Add curd to a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
- Mix in grated carrot and chopped coriander.
- Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and green chilli if using.
- Stir everything well and chill for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use thick curd for a creamier texture. You can also add a pinch of pepper or chaat masala for extra flavour. For a lighter version, use low-fat curd.
