  • 2 medium ripe avocados peeled and pitted
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp milk any milk of choice
  • 1 pinch salt to enhance flavour

Method
 

  1. Add avocados, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla and a pinch of salt to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons milk to adjust consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Chill for 30 minutes for best texture and serve in small bowls.

Notes

For a richer taste, add 1 tablespoon melted dark chocolate. Garnish with chopped nuts or berries for added nutrients.
