  • 1/4 cup rolled oats use plain oats
  • 1 small banana ripe
  • 1 cup milk use dairy or almond milk
  • 1 tbsp honey adjust sweetness
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder optional
  • 3-4 pieces ice cubes optional for chilled smoothie

Method
 

  1. Add oats to the blender and pulse for a few seconds till they turn slightly fine.
  2. Add banana, milk, honey and cinnamon. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add ice cubes and blend once more if you want a chilled smoothie.
  4. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

You can replace banana with mango or apple. For extra protein, add 1 tbsp peanut butter or a scoop of protein powder.
