  • 120 g Smoked salmon slices thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp Low-fat cream cheese softened
  • 2 Whole wheat rotis fresh and soft
  • 2 tbsp Cucumber finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Spring onion greens chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper freshly crushed
  • 1 tbsp Fresh coriander chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • spatula or spoon
  • Tawa or skillet

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cucumber, spring onion greens, coriander, lemon juice and black pepper.
  2. Warm the rotis lightly on a tawa to keep them soft.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each roti.
  4. Place salmon slices on top and spread them out evenly.
  5. Roll the roti tightly and slice into 2 to 3 pieces if serving as snacks.

Notes

You can add lettuce or spinach for extra fiber. Use hung curd instead of cream cheese for a lighter version.
