
Sattu Paratha
This healthy Sattu Paratha is a traditional Bihar-style stuffed paratha made with roasted gram flour, spices, and whole wheat dough. It is filling, protein-rich, and perfect for a wholesome breakfast or lunch.

- In a bowl, add whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt. Slowly add water and knead a soft dough. Rest it for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix sattu, onion, coriander, ajwain, cumin powder, black salt, lemon juice, and mustard oil. Sprinkle a little water to bind the stuffing lightly.
- Divide the dough into two equal balls. Roll one portion into a small circle.
- Place 2–3 tbsp sattu stuffing in the center and gently seal the edges.
- Lightly roll the stuffed dough into a medium-sized paratha.
- Heat a tawa and cook the paratha on both sides. Apply ghee and roast until golden.
- Serve hot with curd, pickle, or green chutney.
Notes
Adjust spices as per your taste. A little pickle masala can be added to the stuffing for extra flavor.
