
Sooji Halwa with Fruits
A light and wholesome Indian Sooji Halwa made with semolina, ghee, milk, and fresh fruits. Perfect for a quick healthy dessert.

- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan on medium flame.
- Add sooji and roast it for 5 to 6 minutes until it turns golden and aromatic. Keep stirring to avoid burning.
- Pour in hot water or milk slowly while stirring to avoid lumps.
- Add jaggery or sugar and mix well. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the halwa thickens.
- Add cardamom powder and mix. Turn off the heat.
- Fold in the chopped fruits and nuts gently. Serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier version, replace sugar with jaggery and reduce ghee slightly. Add fruits just before serving to keep them fresh.
