  • 1 small ripe avocado peeled and pitted
  • 1 cup milk use dairy or almond milk
  • 1.5 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp honey or jaggery adjust sweetness
  • 4-5 pieces ice cubes optional
  • 1 tsp chia seeds optional for extra fiber

Method
 

  1. Add avocado, milk, cocoa powder, honey and ice cubes to a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 30–40 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness. Add chia seeds and blend for 5 seconds.
  4. Pour into a chilled glass and serve fresh.

Notes

For a thicker shake, use half cup milk and half cup curd. For a vegan version, swap honey with jaggery syrup or dates.
